It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Faculty of Law at Ebla Private University, the newest faculty, established by Ministerial Decision No. 617 of 2026. It joins our distinguished university, founded by Decree No. 259 of 2007 and named after the Kingdom of Ebla, the first kingdom in our Syrian history to know law and legislation.

The founding of the Faculty of Law at this critical time, in the province of Idlib on the Damascus–Aleppo International Highway, was no coincidence. It came in response to a pressing societal need to prepare a new generation of capable legal professionals who can contribute to building a state of law and justice and to reconstruction. Believing that justice is the foundation of prosperity, we strive to make our faculty a nurturing home for young talent and an active partner in the renewal of our homeland.

Our office doors are open to all students, and our ambition is to make this faculty a home for the law, a meeting place for dialogue, and a platform for shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
