A proposed algorithm for power control and resource allocation in emergency situations

Research Abstract:
Managing wireless networks is crucial after natural disasters or conflicts, where communication systems often become overloaded due to high demand. Device-to-device (D2D) communication helps reduce network congestion by allowing nearby users to communicate directly, improving spectrum efficiency. A many-to-many matching algorithm with adaptive parameters was proposed and tested using MATLAB simulations. The results show that the proposed method outperforms the Gale-Shapley algorithm in managing radio resources during emergencies, improving efficiency and supporting a larger number of users
